In Livra, a contract represents any agreement with a start date and an end date (or renewal date) that affects your property: a mortgage, a tenancy, an insurance policy, a maintenance plan.
Types
- Tenancy: links to a tenant and a monthly rent.
- Mortgage: links to a lender, outstanding principal and monthly payment.
- Service: any other recurring agreement (cleaning, gardening, alarm monitoring).
- Other: one-off contracts with no clear frequency.
Key data
For alerts to work, fill in at least:
- Start date and end date (or “open-ended” for periodic tenancies under UK rules).
- Amount (monthly or annual depending on the type).
- Notice period: how many days before the end date you want to be reminded.
Attach the PDF
Upload the signed contract. We store it in private, encrypted storage (see /seguridad) — only you can access it via a temporary signed URL when you open it.
Linked alerts
When the end date or review date approaches:
- You’ll receive a push notification (if the app is open) and an email.
- It will appear on the dashboard as “expiring soon”.
- If it’s a tenancy, you can also generate the rent review notice (CPI / market rent) directly from the contract.
Editing later
Editing a contract doesn’t break anything. Alerts are recalculated as soon as you save.
